Install Stash
The Mac app does the work, the iPhone app captures, and Claude Code or Codex brings tips to your repos.

What you need
| Piece | Needs |
|---|---|
| Mac app | macOS 15 or later, Claude Code or Codex signed in, Node 18+, git |
| iPhone app | iOS 18 or later, signed in to the same iCloud account as your Mac |
| Optional | gh for a private GitHub copy of your library; yt-dlp for "Read the whole post" |
1. The Mac app
Open Stash. The setup window checks Claude Code, Node, git and iCloud. Then it creates your library in ~/Stash and installs the plugin. You can turn on "Read the whole post" there too. It's off by default.
2. The iPhone app
Install it, open it once, and Stash appears in the share sheet. If you don't see it, tap More in the share sheet's app row and add it.
Using Codex
In the Mac app's Settings, choose Process posts with: Codex to let Codex turn posts into tips (sandboxed, no network), and click Add Stash to Codex to get the Stash skills in Codex. Without the app:
node ~/.claude/plugins/…/stash/dist/stash.mjs codex installTips you apply land in AGENTS.md and .agents/skills, which Codex reads.
Plugin only
No apps? Add posts by hand in Claude Code:
claude plugin marketplace add yanivvds/stash
claude plugin install stash@stashThen run /stash:setup to create your library and /stash:add <link> to save a post.
